Z Nijuroku

  Z is from Oakland, California (USA). He is a multi-talented teacher with nearly twenty years of experience. He is especially skilled in leading a group class, grasping the attentions of each participant and uplifting their energy. He is most of all friendly and entertaining to people of all ages, and creates a class permeated with joy and liveliness.

Michelle Durow (Michelle)

  Michelle is in her 2nd year in Japan. Arriving from South Africa where she studied micro-biology, she loves the nature and wild life. As a teacher she is currently an ALT (assistant language teacher) at a junior high school and enjoys interactions with both kids and adults.

Edoardo Bastianini (Edo)

  Edoardo Bastianini, an Italian, is an “on the road” Historian. Currently, his main research interest is to understand how the politics of memory influenced – and still finance and modify – the narrative of the Italian Resistance during World War II. A traveler, boardgame player, social media manager, and event organizer for a decade, he has also long been involved in the social welfare of his community, actively fighting against gambling and proposing safe ways to socialize and to spread historical knowledge to a wider audience.
